3 people pulled out of truck involved in crash with LA County deputy
A man, woman and child were pulled out of a truck on its side after they were involved in a crash with Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies at a Manchester Square intersection.

MANCHESTER SQUARE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man, woman and child were pulled out of a truck on its side after they were involved in a crash with Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies at a Manchester Square intersection.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Manchester and Western avenues. The deputies were driving a patrol SUV and heading to reports of a stolen vehicle that was being followed in the area.

While heading to the scene, the SUV crashed into the side of the truck, causing it to turn onto its side and trapping the three people in the vehicle.

Rescue crews quickly responded and took a man, woman and small child out of the white truck.

The three people appeared to be OK but in shock as emergency personnel evaluated them on the side of the street. The deputies also appeared to be unharmed in the crash.

The intersection was shut down during the investigation into the crash.
