Body found in Laguna Woods possibly missing elderly man

LAGUNA WOODS, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities on Wednesday found a body believed to be that of an elderly man missing from Laguna Woods.

A search and rescue team discovered the body of an elderly Asian man in a shrub area near in the 2300 block of Moulton Parkway around 4:30 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff's Department said. The area is located near a golf course adjacent to the El Toro Water District Water Treatment Center.

The team had been looking for Sa K. Lee, 82, who was reported missing Saturday.

So far police say there does not appear to be any foul play or suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

A positive identification is pending from the coroner.
