Sign in New Orleans says 'We were robbed' after Los Angeles Rams NFC Championship win

NEW ORLEANS (KABC) -- A highway sign in New Orleans read "We were robbed" after the Saints lost the NFC Championship 26-23 against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

The sign is in reference to a missed call by officials late in the fourth quarter, which many Saints fans say helped the Rams tie the game and win in overtime.

The sign was spotted on the causeway over Lake Pontchartrain and appears to sum up the mood of New Orleans for the night.

Later Sunday night, LAPD decided to comment on the sign with a snarky tweet.
