Mayde Gomez
Mayde Gomez is a general assignment reporter for ABC7 Los Angeles. She joined the station in September 2015.

Mayde is a multimedia Journalist who is comfortable in front of the camera and behind the viewfinder, in the edit bay or on a news beat. She has covered everything from the Fort Hood shootings, to wild weather, to immigration.

Before joining KABC-TV Mayde worked as a reporter for ABC affiliate KSAT-12 and for Spanish-language station Telemundo 60, both in San Antonio, Texas.

A native of Dallas, Mayde is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where she received a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in criminal justice.

Mayde began her career as an associate entertainment producer on Telemundo's "Super Latina" and has also worked in production.
