RIVERSIDE COUNTY (KABC) --Next month's election could ruffle a few feathers in the Inland Empire. The ballot will include a measure cracking down on roosters.Voters in the city of Riverside will decide how many roosters are too many. Measure A on the Feb. 5 ballot would limit to seven the number of crowing roosters per lot.
The measure affects two rural areas.
Supporters say the measure would also help to crack down on illegal cockfighting, which authorities say has increased significantly in the last year-and-a-half.
