No contracts: TV season can't be saved?

4 major studios cancel dozens of writer contracts
LOS ANGELES (KABC) The Los Angeles Times reports 20th Century Fox Television, CBS Paramount Network Television, NBC Universal, and Warner Bros. Television have each ended development and production agreements.

ABC Studios cut about 25 agreements late last week.

The cancellations mean the current TV season cannot be saved and the development of next season's new shows may also be in peril.

Meanwhile, the effects of the strike may be spreading to next month's Grammy Awards at Staples Center. Daily Variety reports the Writers Guild has announced it will not grant a waiver for the Grammys if the strike is still on.
