Sixteen striking writers are going to work to help some of the non-writers hurt by the strike, which is now in its 80th day. With TV production at a virtual standstill, the writers have crafted a lineup of 16 short plays that'll feature several actors from TV shows. They're calling it "TV Takes the Stage", and it'll play at the Macha Theatre in West Hollywood for five performances beginning Jan. 31.

Bonnie Somerville from "Cashmere Mafia" is just one of the stars participating.

Money raised will go to the Motion Picture and TV Fund for Distribution. Tickets start at $20
