Vitamin deficiency linked to dementia

A key vitamin deficiency is being linked to a tripled risk of developing dementia.Researchers in South Korea measured naturally occurring folate levels in a group of elderly people, then tracked their development over several years. They found a strong link between lower levels of folate and dementia.

Folate is found in leafy vegetables, nuts, and certain fruits.

A study was published in the British Medical Association's Journal of Neurology.
