L.A. County registrar says it will sample about one percent of the ballots to see how much of an error there is. If it determines a significant crossover vote was not counted, there may be legal options to add the votes to the count.
Vote 08: Ballot investigation ordered
(KABC) Those voters were allowed to participate in Tuesday's Democratic primary, but they had to mark a box labeled "Democrat" at the top of the ballot in order for their vote to count. It's possible that thousands failed to do so.
