Aggressive diabetes treatment preferable

(KABC) Diabetes patients are at high risk of dying from kidney disease, stroke, or heart attack. But a new study of 160 people with type 2 diabetes found that those who underwent intensive therapy - including multiple medications to regulate blood sugar levels, blood pressure and cholesterol - cut their risk of death by 46 percent.

That's compared to patients who used conventional treatments.
