Molotov cocktail thrown at Jewish center

WEST HILLS It happened at the Bernard Milken Jewish Community Campus early Monday morning. The Molotov cocktail hit an outer wall, causing minor fire damage to the building. No one was injured.

"There is video surveillance video that leads us to believe that the fire did occur around o'clock this morning. We are actively pursuing information that was on the videotape," said Battalion Chief John Miller of the L.A. City Fire Department.

Jewish facilities had been alerted to the potential of an attack after a Palestinian terror suspect was killed in a car bombing last week.

The Jewish Federation, which owns and operates the facility, says it will be vigilant in protecting visitors.
