A happy marriage could be a key factor in lowering blood pressure.A preliminary study finds people who said they have a satisfying marriage tend to have lower blood pressure than those who have stressful marriages.
The study is also touted as the first to show that even singles can be healthier than people in bad marriages.
More than 200 couples and a hundred singles took part.
Researchers caution that further study is needed to see how the results translate to long-term health.
