'Horton' hears a hit--two weeks in a row

"10,000 B.C." rounds out the top 5.
LOS ANGELES 20th Century Fox's animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss' beloved children's book "Horton Hears a Who," remains the top movie for a second straight weekend.

According to studio estimates, it earned a little more than 25 million dollars. That raises its 10-day total to 85 and a-half million.

A rush of new movies tried to match Horton's drawing power, but "Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns" came closest. The story of a single mom who connects with previously unknown relatives at her father's funeral opened in second place with 20 million dollars.

Another 20th Century Fox film, the thriller "Shutter," opened in third, while the Owen Wilson comedy "Drillbit Taylor" was fourth.

"10,000 B.C." rounds out the top 5.
