Break over: Prisoner caught after 2 yrs.

BLYTHE, Calif. Robert Carlos Cruz, along with Rene Chavez and seven others, broke out of a jail in Blythe in June 2006.

While the others were captured, Cruz remained at large. He had originally been awaiting trial on an attempted murder charge.

The FBI received a tip earlier this month that Cruz was hiding out in Mexico.

Working with Mexican authorities, Cruz was arrested two nights ago without incident in Mexicali.
