Rare camel is treated with llama plasma

March 27, 2008 12:00:00 AM PDT
A rare white camel is back home after being treated for nearly a week at a Wisconsin vet hospital. His owners brought him to the medical center in Madison because he was very weak. He was treated with llama plasma and got stronger.

The camel's name is Seymour because his owners say he'll "see more" than an average camel.

They joke he's already seen the inside of a car twice with his trips to and from the hospital.
