Authorities hope a new reward will lead to an arrest in the case of a 19-year-old man who was gunned down while walking to his cousin's house.Daniel Arviso was gunned down while walking to a birthday party at his cousin's house five months ago, but the suspect is still at large.
The L.A. City Council is offering a $50,000 reward Thursday for tips leading to an arrest.
Arviso lived in Wilmington, which is part of L.A. City Councilwoman Janice Hahn's district. Hahn said Arviso was going back to school and was working to support his 3-year-old daughter.
