Study shows link between smell and emotion

According to a new study from Northwestern University, your nose knows danger.Researchers say your sense of smell can actually sharpen when something bad happens.

The findings could also shed some light on disorders such as Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

Previous research has shown a strong link between the sense of smell and emotion.

But, scientists say this study takes that a step further by talking about a change in our perceptual abilities based on emotional learning.
