Police said the man led them on a high-speed chase that reached speeds of 100 miles per hour. The chase ended when the suspect left his vehicle on the southbound 5 Freeway at 17th Street and jumped from an overpass in an attempt to flee.
The jump was at least 30 feet. The suspect was captured a few minutes later.
