Sam Adams 12-ounce bottles recalled

The maker of Samuel Adams beer is recalling an undetermined amount of bottles because they may contain pieces of glass.The brewery's parent company, Boston Beer, said the defective bottles were discovered during a quality control check at the company's Cincinnati, Ohio plant.

Boston beer says it has not received any reports of injuries.

Only Samuel Adams beers in 12-ounce brown glass bottles are involved in the recall.

The recalled bottles are embossed around the bottom with the code N-35 followed by the letters OI.

Consumers can get a refund by contacting the company.

The following products are not being recalled:

  • 24oz bottles of Samuel Adams
  • Samuel Adams Utopias
  • Samuel Adams Triple Bock
  • Twisted Tea
  • Bottles with embossed code N08 followed by the letters "OI"
  • Bottles with embossed code N17 followed by the letters "OI"
  • Bottles with embossed code N26 followed by the letters "OI"
  • Bottles with embossed code N31 followed by the letters "OI"

Consumers can get a refund by contacting the company.
