On men, a square jaw, large nose and small eyes was found to have the look of lust. Women who were more prone to short-term sexual relationships had wide eyes and large lips.
The study is in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior.
Can you identify a look as love or lust?
Three universities surveyed about 700 heterosexual people. They found that a majority correctly identified the sexual attitudes of a group of men and women in their 20s after being shows photographs or facial images.
