The plane came down Saturday afternoon at 538 West Cypress Street.
According to reports, the flight originated in San Diego and was scheduled to land at Hawthorne Airport when it crashed, officials said. Hawthorne Airport is about seven miles away from Compton Airport.
Two people living in the house were hurt, as well as two people on the plane. Another victim on the ground was treated for chest pains. All five victims were expected to survive their injuries.
Cleanup crews hoped to remove the plane from the home on Monday with a crane.
