The knife got stuck in his head, but he was able to run home.
When his dad saw what happened, he rushed him to the hospital.
"They took a cat scan to make sure it wasn't in my scull, and they found out it wasn't in my scull, so they numbed it and cut it open and ripped the knife out," Hemmert said.
Hemmert ended up with five stitches. No word yet if the boy who threw the knife will face charges.
