Officials bracing for bad fire season

Last year was the driest year on record in Los Angeles. Massive wildfires throughout the region scorched more than 500,000 acres.

Experts say thanks to this year's wet weather, the vegetation has grown, fueling the potential for even more devastating fires this summer.

The National Weather Service predicts there's a 40 percent chance of above normal temperatures from May through September.
