Too much soda may harm bone growth

New research suggests that too much soda and carbonated beverages could affect development of bones, especially in children.One reason they say is that people who drink a lot of soda are less likely to drink healthier beverages like milk or calcium-fortified juice.

They also say the caffeine in many soda drinks is linked to higher risk of osteoporosis.
