Man shot 4 times in front of home

GARDEN GROVE Police say the shooting happened in front of the man's home near the intersection of Robyn Court and Trask Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. The victim had just gotten home from work when he was involved in some sort of confrontation with the suspect. Witnesses say the victim may have been confronting a man spray painting a wall. There was a lot of graffiti at the shooting scene, and police reportedly found a can of spray paint in a trash can nearby.

Although the victim was shot four times in the upper torso, he is expected to live. He is in critical condition at UCI Medical Center. Police do not believe the victim had any gang affiliation.

The suspect fled the scene, and no suspect description was available. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Garden Grove Police Department at (714) 741-5704.
