PAN PACIFIC PARK --Two solemn ceremonies were held on Sunday to remember the estimated six million Jews killed in the Holocaust. The largest observance in the state was held this afternoon in Pan Pacific Park at the L.A. Holocaust Monument.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Lt. Gov. John Garamendi were among the dignitaries.
The second ceremony took place in West Hollywood.
Both events coincided with the founding of Israel, 60-years ago.
