One worker injured in Hyde Park fire

A fire in Hyde Park sent one worker to the hospital. It appears he may have accidentally started the blaze.The worker suffered second and third degree burns to an arm. Los Angeles Fire says the man apparently spilled a cleaning solvent, and sparks from a power tool ignited the fire. It took 100 firefighters 90 minutes to put out the blaze.

The property in the 2300 block of Southwest Drive houses Hosanna Awning Company.
