Breast cancer affects young women, too

LOS ANGELES While the growth of different types of breast cancer tumors can vary Norwegian scientists found growth tends to be faster among young women.

They found the older the patient, the slower the tumor grows.

One expert feels this study is yet another indication that women should get a mammogram every year.

Researchers say it's an indication that women should begin breast cancer screenings early, at least by the age of 40.
