Fire officials say it appears a hotel explosion in San Diego was triggered by a natural gas leak. Cell phone video showed smoke rising from the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel moments after the blast Monday. The hotel was under construction at the time.

At least four of 14 workers who were injured remain hospitalized, three of them in critical condition. Some suffered burns, while others were hit by flying debris.

The hotel was scheduled to open in December.
