The new Wii Fit features a step pad controller that can turn the Wii into a workout.

"I wanted the Wii Fit because I have been working on my own weight and my health. As a family we love to do it together," said customer David Middleton.

A small group of fans lined up early to get their hands on the new system and it paid off for them. One local Best Buy sold out in just a few minutes.

"I have been trying to get one. I was at a Best Buy yesterday, but they wouldn't let me have it until today. I did not realize you had to get down here so early to get it. I happened to be down here after breakfast so I thought I would get it anyway," said customer Julie Tonks.

The Wii Fit has an instructor program built into it, and the level of difficulty can be adjusted.

"You can select your trainer either a male or female. You can select how aggressive you want them to be on you. It is very interactive. You could probably get a military drill sergeant on there if you really wanted it," said Best Buy supervisor Jen Harris.

The game can even tell you if you have gained or lost weight.

"It seems like something that can help you keep track of how you are doing. I think that is important when you are trying to lose weight," said Middleton.

As with most Nintendo games, reviewers say that the menus and graphics are simple and friendly.
