Students warned of sexual predator

TORRANCE Police posted warnings at El Camino College in Torrance after the attack Friday at the women's physical education building.

They say two young men forced the woman inside the building and that one sexually assaulted her as the other acted as a lookout.

"I felt scared because it could happen to anybody," said student Nathaly Burbano. "It could have been me or something, you know?"

"[I] ever expect to hear someone was attacked at such an early evening hour, to say the least, and to have two people working together, that's just horrific," said student Daysi Mejia.

In November, another woman was sexually assaulted outside the same campus building, and in that case, the attacker threatened her with a knife.
