One of the neighboring homes sustained minor damage.
The plane struck power lines as it descended, but did not spark a fire.
The pilot suffered only minor injuries and is reportedly in stable condition at a nearby hospital. She is identified as 39-year-old Audra Ellen Cramer of Redondo Beach.
Cramer told emergency personnel she experienced difficulty during final approach, but it's unclear what that difficulty was.
