LOS ANGELES --
A new study by an award winning neurosurgeon concludes that using a cell phone might be more dangerous than exposure to asbestos or smoking.Cancer expert Dr. Vini Khurana believes a huge rise in brain tumors is linked to an equally big rise in cell phone use.
The study draws on evidence that using a cell phone handset for 10 years or more can double the risk of brain cancer.
Dr. Khurana reviewed more than 100 studies on cell phones, but a representative from the British cell phone industry said the review was selective, and not a balanced analysis.
