Number of uninsured young adults grows

LOS ANGELES Experts who did a study funded by an insurance company found that the number of people between the ages of 19 to 29, who are not getting health insurance is skyrocketing.

That's especially true for those working lower paying or part time jobs where employers are less likely to offer health insurance.

Experts say health insurance is especially important for this age group because of the high rate of pregnancy, injuries and HIV.
