Deer stranded on hill due to flooding

Jefferson County, WI A group of deer got stranded on a small hill on a property in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. They moved to higher ground when the flooding started and have been stuck there since.

Even though they don't venture out into the water, they're not going hungry.

The man who lives on the property uses a boat to bring the deer hay. He says the deer are New Zealand red-tails and he can't move them because of the Department of Natural Resources rules related to chronic wasting disease.

Jefferson County is in southern Wisconsin, west of Milwaukee.
