Sports bra saves woman's life

COLORADO Jessica Bruinsma , 24, went missing during bad weather on June 16.

Her family back in Colorado Springs impatiently waited to hear news.

They say German rescuers searched without any luck, until they got a call from a lumberjack about a bra someone had left behind on a cable to haul timber.

"That was just one of those small miracles I guess you could call it that she was in an area where she could send a signal to get help. And that was like fortunate, it was fortunate that she was smart enough to do something and use it," said Jack Bruinsma, Jessica's brother.

Rescuers found Bruinsma a couple of hours later, badly injured and stranded on a rocky overhang.

She was airlifted to safety and is expected back home in a couple of weeks.
