Kmart expands prescription drug program

Kmart expanded its generic prescription drug program.More than 100 generic antibiotics and cold treatments are now going for $5 a prescription.

In addition, Kmart has lowered the cost of a 3-month supply for many drugs from $15 to $10.

Also new, the retailer is now offering 50 generic drugs for women, including oral contraceptives and prenatal and osteoporosis medications, all at prices of up to $25 dollars for a 90-day supply.
