Police officers say a black Honda civic was going southbound around two this morning when it crashed into another car, then plowed into a house.
A passenger in the back seat of the civic was killed.
The homeowner says he heard a loud crash and then saw a car in his house.
He rushed to get his wife and children to safety.
"I'm just glad my kids are alright," said the homeowner, Herschell Durson. "I just feel bad for the guy who's in that car."
Police said the driver and another person inside the car ran off.
So far police are not aren't releasing any other information.
