Police: Rockefeller linked to old case

LOS ANGELES A man calling himself Clark Rockefeller was recently arrested in Boston on charges of abducting his 7-year-old daughter. But investigators say Rockefeller, who is a German national, also went by the name Christopher Chichester when living in California in the 1980s.

Chichester lived in the guest house of Jonathan and Nancy Sohus, who went missing in 1985. Human remains buried in their backyard were uncovered a decade later.

"He is a person of interest. We want to speak to him. We want anybody who was associated with him from 1985 to 1988 to please come forward," said Steve Whitmore from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

The Sheriff's department just released a poster showing three different photographs of Rockefeller.

Rockefeller's attorney claims his client remembers little about his past life, but says he never murdered anyone.
