Parents dislike school's jumpsuit policy

GONZALES, Texas Police were called to a school board meeting last night in Gonzales after some of the parents got out of hand.

They're outraged over last month's decision that their kids would have to wear jumpsuits as a form of punishment for breaking the dress code. They say they weren't given enough time to voice their concerns.

"Thirty days before school, y'all tell us y'all are changing the dress code," parent Betty Fussner said. "Shame on y'all."

The district says parents were given plenty of time to voice their concerns. There were special board meetings, open sessions, and the change was advertised.
