More Latinos are turning to TV and radio for health advice rather than consulting a doctor, according to a new report by the Pew Hispanic Center.Doctors say a big concern is that some Spanish language ads are promising miracle cures for everything from weight loss to cancer. Researchers say the news is not encouraging for a population that's expected to double by the year 2050.
The study also found that half of high school educated Latinos don't seek regular medical care.
