Detectives said the suspect opened fire on the crowd for no apparent reason and then ran away from the scene.
39-year-old Sheila Montelongo was shot once in the back was pronounced dead at the scene. Another woman and a man were taken to the hospital, both with a gunshot wounds in their leg.
Authorities are still working to determine the suspect's identity and a motive.
