Flyers may get Internet on American

The carrier started service on a handful of nonstop flights from New York to the West Coast and to Miami.

It does come with a fee, and you won't be able to make phone calls over the Internet.

American expects to know whether the Internet program will work within three months, and if it does, the carrier plans to roll out the program on their domestic system.
