Teens need sleep to stay healthy

Late nights of doing homework, surfing the web, talking to friends: it can all put teens at risk - if they don't get enough sleep.Experts say: teens are often sleep deprived, but the effects could lead to more than feelings of sleepiness; they could lead to problems focusing in school, and other health issues.

A recent study showed: teens who slept fewer than 6.5 hours were twice as likely to have high blood pressure.

Researchers don't know if there are any long term effects.
