Baby left on Apple Valley doorstep

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. Police say the baby boy was dropped off at an apartment complex on Nisqually Road. They say he was just hours old and still had the umbilical cord attached.

The person who found him Tuesday afternoon called 911 and the newborn was taken to the Saint Mary's Medical Center.

Anyone with information about the baby or his mother are urged to call Apple Valley Police Department.
