AGOURA HILLS, Calif. --Two teenagers have admitted they started a fire that burned dangerously close to homes in Agoura Hills this week.The 15-year-old boys said it was an accident and turned themselves in on Thursday.
Witnesses reported seeing two boys running from the scene, and investigators found fireworks near where the fire started.
The flames burned 80 acres near a residential area, prompting some people to voluntarily evacuate.
Firefighters prevented flames from damaging any structures, and no one was hurt by the blaze.
The boys were released to their parents.
