Earlier this week Michael Lohan gave an interview saying Lohan's friend, Samantha Ronson, was "using" his daughter.
But Lindsay says she believes her dad is addicted to fame and if her really cared about her, he would respect her wishes.
Ronson says she feels no need to publicly defend her role in Lindsay's life, adding, "I'm just sorry that she likes me more than him."
For his part, Lohan say all he wants is for Lindsay to be healthy and in a good relationship.
