A promising new breast exam is proving to be more effective at detecting tumors than mammograms.It's called molecular breast imaging, or MBI, and uses a radioactive tracer that highlights abnormal cells found in cancerous tumors, including those mammograms did not always pick up.
Researchers say MBI would not replace mammograms, but would be an additional tool for high-risk women.
