Study on crime rate of deported illegals

According to a study by the Rand Corporation, 75 percent committed another crime within a year, and 28 percent were arrested multiple times in a one year period.

But the L.A. Times reports that the data indicates illegal immigrants who have not been deported were not a greater crime risk.

The researchers say the study could impact public policy in L.A. County and other counties nationwide.
