Drugs impede chemo-stimulated tumor

Chemotherapy damages not only the tumor but also the blood vessels surrounding it.

In animal models, scientists discovered combining chemo with medications that block blood vessel re-growth, doctors would have more success.

If this finding can be duplicated in humans it could change the way doctors treat cancer.
